These terms govern your use of SunMi Skin, operated by SunMi James Aesthetics LLC (“SunMi James,” “we,” “us”), based in Brooklyn, NY. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

SunMi Skin is an ingredient-literacy tool for Korean skincare products. It shows sourced ingredient lists, a plain-language safety verdict, and community reviews, and helps you build a personalized routine.

This isn’t medical advice.Ingredient verdicts and routine suggestions are informational, not a diagnosis or a substitute for advice from a dermatologist or other medical professional. Everyone’s skin reacts differently — we recommend patch-testing new products and consulting a professional for any skin condition or concern.

We source ingredient lists from official brand sites, major retailers, or ingredient databases, and cite the source on each product page. Product formulations can change between batches or over time, and a product on the shelf may not always exactly match what’s shown here. If you have an allergy or sensitivity, always check the ingredient list on the physical packaging before use, in addition to what’s shown in the app.

You need an account to save a routine or write a review. You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for anything that happens under your account. Please use accurate information and don’t create an account on someone else’s behalf without permission.

When you write a review, you’re sharing your honest experience with a product — please keep it that way. Don’t post fake reviews, reviews for products you haven’t used, spam, or content that’s abusive, defamatory, or infringes someone else’s rights.

You keep ownership of what you write, but by posting a review you give us permission to display it in the app alongside the product, including in aggregate/summarized form (like an average score). We may remove content that violates these terms.

“Where to buy” links on product pages are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate and Stylevana affiliate, SunMi James earns a commission from qualifying purchases made through these links, at no extra cost to you. We don’t process purchases ourselves — you’ll complete any purchase directly with the retailer.

The app links out to third-party sites (Amazon, Stylevana, sunmijames.com, and others). We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, products, or privacy practices. Once you leave SunMi Skin, their terms apply.

SunMi Skin is provided “as is.” We work to keep ingredient data accurate and properly sourced, but we don’t guarantee the app or its content is complete, current, or error-free, and we’re not liable for reactions, purchases, or decisions made based on information in the app.

You can stop using the app any time, and request account deletion by emailing us. We may suspend or remove an account that violates these terms.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.

If we make material changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
