SunMi Skin is operated by SunMi James Aesthetics LLC (“SunMi James,” “we,” “us”), based in Brooklyn, NY. This policy explains what information we collect through the SunMi Skin app, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Browsing the app. You can search products, view ingredient breakdowns, and read reviews without creating an account or giving us any personal information.

Creating an account. If you sign up to save a routine or write a review, we collect the email address and password you provide. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider (Supabase) and are never visible to us in plain text.

Skin profile. If you use the routine builder, we store the skin type, concerns, and sensitivities you tell us, tied to your account, so we can show you relevant product recommendations.

Reviews. If you write a product review, we store your skin type, irritation/results ratings, repurchase answer, and any written text you submit, associated with your account and shown publicly alongside the product.

Saved routines.If you build a routine, we store which products you’ve added to it, tied to your account.

We do not collect payment information. SunMi Skin does not process purchases — product links take you to Amazon or Stylevana to complete any purchase there.

We use your information to operate your account, show your saved routines and reviews back to you, display your reviews to other users, and improve the app’s recommendations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or share it with data brokers.

We use a small number of service providers to run the app, and your information passes through them only as needed to operate the service:

Supabase — hosts our database and handles account authentication.

Vercel — hosts the app itself.

We don’t share your account information with Amazon, Stylevana, or any other retailer. Clicking a “Where to buy” link simply takes you to their site as a normal visitor — we don’t pass along anything about you.

The app uses your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in between visits. We don’t currently use advertising or analytics cookies/trackers.

You can review or update your skin profile and saved routines any time you’re signed in. To request a copy of your data, correct it, or have your account and associated data deleted, email us at sunmijaesthetics@gmail.com — we don’t yet have a self-serve delete-account button in the app, so this is currently handled manually and we’ll confirm once it’s done.

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we’ll remove your personal data within a reasonable time, except where we need to keep limited records for legal or security reasons.

SunMi Skin is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we’ll remove it.

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
